TULARE, Calif. – With one race under his belt in 2020, Kyle Offill and Country Builders Racing are still patiently waiting to kick their season off in full swing as schedules are currently idle due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We all just want to race, but as a team were have been taking this extreme time to make sure everything is ready to go,” Offill said. “We have some extremely great partners behind us, and we appreciate their continued support. We are working to make sure we do them proud once all this passes.”
With the current Shelter in Place orders in California set, Offill and company still intend to hit the King of the West trail for his rookie campaign as he is set to pilot the famed Country Builders Construction No. 88 machine.
Pending additional changes due to COVID-19, the King of the West season will open May 16 at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif.
